Wichita Tribe Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Wichita and Affiliated Tribes offices will be closed 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Tribal offices will re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 16.

Wichita Tribal News Jan. 2018: Digital Edition Now Available

The digital edition of the Wichita Tribal News for January 2018 is now available: http://wichitatribe.com/media/54678/wtn_jan_2018__issue.pdf.

The print editions are scheduled for mailing and distribution to Anadarko, Okla. newsstands later today.

Tribal Office Closing Times

The offices of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes will close at 3 p.m. Friday December 29th and remain closed through New Year’s Day, January 1st 2018. Offices will then re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday January 2nd.

Dairy Freeze: Positions Open

DAIRY FREEZE is accepting applications/resumes for a Store Manager, Cook and Front Lobby Crew Member.  Persons applying must have a high school diploma, fast food retail experience, strong customer service skills, experience with cash handling and cashier reports, inventory control, ordering/procurement, and ability to interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.  Serious inquiries only.  Submit Applications/Resumes to the Wichita Tribe Industrial Development Commission (WTIDC) office at 1503 S. Mission Suite 4, Anadarko, OK or mail to   P.O. Box 682, Anadarko, OK  73005.  Applications/Resumes must be received by close of business on January 3rd, 2018 to be considered.

Invitation for Wichita Veterans: 2 p.m. January 25, 2018

The Wichita Executive Committee and the staff of the Wichita Tribal History Center invite all Wichita veterans to assist with the planning of a Wichita Veterans Memorial Park. The first planning meeting will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 25, 2018 at the Wichita Administration Building, 1.25 miles north of Anadarko on Highway 281.

Advice and counsel is needed to assist with the initial phase of the project. The park will be located at the Wichita Tribal History Center.
